Can you refurbish the film holders?

Yes. Over time and obviously continious use these holders become damaged. They can be refurbished.

The supply of new holders has become limited therefore refurbisement is the way to go!

Can I service my Hasselblad Scanner myself?

This is not advisable for a number of reasons for example specialist tools, cleaning equipment and lubrications which are required.

Horizontal Lines normally indicates a transport problem, this is sometimes caused by wear to the gearbox timing belts.

Vertical Lines are normally but not always caused by contamination in the optical path.

Both of these items are covered in our normal scanner service at £330.00 plus VAT.

Focus calibration is often all that is required and should not be carried out more than once a month.

There can be many reasons why focus can be out including CCD, Lens, Drum and chasis misalignment.
